Southern Airports Services Company (SASCO), a State-owned company & member of Southern Airports Corportaion, has been established on April 22, 1993 under Decision No.776/QĐ/TCCB-LĐ of the Transport & Communication Minister.
Over fifteen years of operation, SASCO has affirmed its position as one of leading companies in terms of business performance of Vietnam Airlines Corporation, Southern Airports Authority, has achieved outstanding awards, making significant contribution to the social economic development of the aviation industry and the country. Our company takes pride in successfully establishing the trade name SASCO with its stability and prestige, providing quality product and services of various business lines in and outside the aviation. ESTABLISHMENT AND DEVELOPMENT

- In an effort to meet the demand for new mechanism, clear identification of the function of State management and of business operation with an aim to maximizing the management and business performance of Vietnam civil aviation industry, deserving its nomination as the key industry of the country, the Government issued Decree 242/CP regarding the separation of aviation industry into two divisions which are State management and Business operation.
- Under Decree 242/CP, business organizations were established based on various business lines at the airport. Southern Airports Services Company was founded under Decision 776/QĐ/TCCB-LĐ dated April 22, 1993 of the Transport & Communication Minister.
- In line with Decree 338/HĐBT, SASCO was re-structured under Decision No.1807-QĐ/ TCCB- LĐ dated Oct 19, 1994 of the Transport & Communication Minister. Southern Airports Services Company is a State-owned company with its independent business accounting under the management of the State and Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam.
- Under the State policy as to setting up robust corporations and heading to forming economic incorporations powerful enough to compete in the regional and international markets with the open policy of the country. Vietnam Airlines Corporation was established with Vietnam Airlines as its core and other enterprises in aviation. Công ty Dịch vụ Cụm Cảng Hàng không Sân bay Miền Nam has become an independently business-accounted member of Vietnam Airlines Corporation under Decision No.1027/QĐ-HĐQT dated June 30, 1997 of the Board of Vietnam Airlines Corporation and re-named as Công ty Dịch vụ Hàng không Sân bay Tân Sơn Nhất (SASCO)
- In the growth orientation of aviation industry and later setting up aviation economic corporations, Southern Airports Authority will also be invested to build up to a general corporation. With a view to facillitating the aviation entities to take the initiatives and gain business efficiency, meeting increasingly high demand of international airport, the Transport & Communication Minister issued Decision No.479/QĐ-BGTVT dated Feb 27, 2006 regarding the transfer of Southern Airports Services Company from Vietnam Airlines Corporation to Southern Airports Authority. Such transferal is in fact a major advantage for SASCO in taking the initiatives and improving its capability in the new business trend.
- Since 1993 to date, SASCO has continually attained high performances in all respects, making great progress in company with the aviation industry as an pioneer with steadily stable growth who has expanded its operation to various fields and affirmed its position and prestige. Recurrent changes in its organization is mainly owing to objective drives subject to the transform of the upper managerial organism. However, such changes have roled as important milestones marking its perpetual development. |

Since 1993, SASCO has entered into partnership with various businesses both local and overseas, optimizing the capital source for business development. Our investment activities have been all well-proceeded resulting in high efficiency.
